As a Principal Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for performing technical safety and risk studies, writing up results and reports, and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional results. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from front-end conceptual studies to detailed design and operational support.

About the Role

The Principal Safety Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Performing technical safety and risk studies and writing up results and reports
  • Collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional results
  • Developing innovative solutions that meet client needs
  • Representing Technip Energies in industry working groups

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can lead our team in delivering exceptional results. If you have a proven track record of success in technical safety and risk, and a passion for innovation and collaboration, we would love to hear from you.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical safety and risk
  • Relevant engineering degree
  • Experience in managing formal safety workshops
  • Experience in executing risk studies and risk-based design
  • Understanding of UK regulatory framework

Advantageous Experience

  • Experience in functional safety
  • Experience with PHAST, Flaresim, BowtieXP, and Pipenet
  • Experience in CCUS, Hydrogen, and Wind
