We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to join our team at RunThrough. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the delivery of our mass-participation running events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with venues, councils, and other stakeholders
  • Create and update event management plans and risk assessments
  • Complete relevant event applications and conduct official course measurements
  • Lead the course team on event days and line manage a small team of Operations staff

Requirements:

  • Passionate about physical activity and running
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full driving licence and ability to work independently and remotely
  • Previous line management experience and knowledge of the UK running industry
