We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Technology Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, managing, and supporting the Group's robust internet/Wi-Fi network infrastructure and IP telephony systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network infrastructure.
  • Provide expert management, support, monitoring, and development of Wi-Fi networks and IP telephony platforms across all properties.
  • Offer prompt and effective support for Wi-Fi network and IP telephony incidents, including hands-on assistance in UK/NL properties. Provide essential connectivity support for large meetings and events.
  • Handle escalations and incidents related to Wi-Fi networks, effectively managing problems to resolution.
  • Collaborate with the network team to assess and administer Wi-Fi network and IP Telephony equipment.
  • Continuously monitor and ensure the optimal performance of the network environment.
  • Manage assets for Wi-Fi, IP telephony, and network hardware and software across the Group.
  • Contribute to network changes and upgrades by planning and assisting the network team.
  • Design, plan, and assist with network cabling or patching works.
  • Generate reports on Wi-Fi infrastructure performance.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department to resolve remote incidents or implement changes.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the installation of in-house and remote Wi-Fi, network hardware, and software across the Group's network.
  • Research and provide recommendations on new products, services, protocols, and standards.
  • Anticipate potential complications and resolve complex issues while adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that systems and processes comply with IT controls and compliance plans.
  • Lead incident, problem, and change management processes or serve as an Incident Commander for critical issues.
  • Assist in the implementation of short- and long-term plans.
  • Monitor and test Wi-Fi and network performance, providing performance statistics and reports.
  • Provide support during new system implementations.
