Job Summary:

C&B Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician & MOT Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our garage, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults, utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques.
  • Conduct thorough MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake checks, to maintain vehicles in optimal condition.
  • Accurately record all work carried out and maintain clear and concise paperwork, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on necessary repairs and maintenance requirements, promoting a culture of transparency and trust.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols and company standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
  • Current MOT Test Licence, with a proven track record of successful testing.
  • Substantial experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a strong background in diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and priorities.
