Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of monthly overhead accounting reports prepared by financial analysts, including journal reviews and reconciliations.
  2. Develop and present comprehensive reports on monthly global operational expenditure, providing meaningful commentary and analysis to explain variances and trends.
  3. Promote and drive the adoption of advanced business intelligence tools, such as TM1 and Power BI, to enhance management reporting and ensure timely delivery of key performance indicators and critical information to stakeholders.
  4. Develop and maintain accurate and reliable monthly rolling forecasts based on run rate analysis and historical trends.
  5. Lead the development of quarterly forecasts, collaborating with corporate teams and providing supporting analysis and insights to underpin business decisions.
  6. Ensure compliance with SOX reporting requirements related to overhead and allocation cost centre reconciliations, maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and transparency.
  7. Engage with global function owners to gain a deep understanding of monthly results and consolidate business area performance insights.
  8. Prepare and present comprehensive EMEA monthly finance packs, providing insightful commentary to facilitate stakeholder understanding of results and performance.
  9. Identify and mitigate monthly risks and opportunities, leveraging run rate analysis and input from discussions with budget owners to inform business decisions.
  10. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, resolving disputes arising from recharges and ensuring seamless financial operations.

Qualifications:

  1. Hold a recognized accounting qualification, such as ICAEW or CIMA.
  2. Prior experience with US GAAP is highly desirable.
  3. Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, with a total of 8 years of industry experience.
  4. Proven track record of managing a team and leading business operations.
  5. Experience in business partnering with senior finance leaders, driving strategic initiatives and influencing business outcomes.
  6. Ability to shape, lead, and influence senior leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  7. Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  8. Proficiency in advanced Excel skills.

This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with Investigo, a leading commercial real estate and facilities management business.
