About the Role



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Professional to join our team as a Tax Services Manager. As a key member of our tax services group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax services to our clients, including corporate tax provision oversight, review of tax returns, and management of service delivery and relationships.



The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations relating to UK Investment Funds and a proven track record of managing complex tax projects. You will also have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.



This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading financial services company and contribute to the success of our tax services group. We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits and opportunities for professional development.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversight of tax provisions for inclusion in SORP accounts for UK investment funds
  • Review of CT600s, CT61s, and VAT returns for submission to HM Revenue & Customs
  • Management of service delivery and relationships with staff and external parties
  • Establishment and monitoring of an effective oversight framework to ensure issues are identified, escalated, and resolved
  • Development and maintenance of good relationships with senior staff within State Street and with clients and external parties
  • Assistance with tax project work as required


Requirements




  • Business degree from University or equivalent relevant market experience
  • Professional qualification (ICAS, ICAEW, CTA, ACCA, ATT, AAT) desirable but not essential
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting principles relating to UK Investment Funds
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • PC literate - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tax packages
