About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized Operational Support to join our team in Cardiff. As an Operational Support, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our personal injury teams, providing administrative support that enables us to deliver exceptional client services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Provide administrative support to the personal injury teams, including opening new files, printing and photocopying, and collating data
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post, including processing unreferenced emails and answering telephone calls
  • Manage office and car parking bookings, and check disbursements on settlement of claims
  • Prepare files for referrer partner audits and costing, and pay invoices by cheque and BACS requests
  • Run and circulate internal reports, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working within an office environment
  • Educated to GCSE level C in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Personal injury and/or clinical negligence experience/understanding would be highly advantageous but isn't essential
  • Great communicator, both verbal and in writing
  • Experienced user of mainstream office IT, including MS Word and Excel, and ideally have a working knowledge of case management or CRM systems
  • Team player with a track record of building strong, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in high confidentiality to tight deadlines and multi-task to meet targets
