Job Description:

This exciting opportunity as Senior Counsel - Intellectual Property Expert at Cytiva will play a critical role in shaping our company's strategic direction and growth. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating intellectual property (IP) and IT-related contracts, collaborating with business teams to drive revenue through IP monetization, and providing expert advice on open-source software issues.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate comprehensive IP and IT agreements to protect our company's interests
  • Partner with commercial, licensing, and technology teams to develop and implement effective IP strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize commercial and sourcing agreements, including software and IP aspects
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of IP laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards
  • Provide expert advice on open-source software issues and ensure software and end-user license agreements (EULAs) comply with our policy

About You:

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor with a proven track record in IP law and a strong understanding of contract negotiations. Your expertise in handling software legal matters, including software licenses, EULAs, and AI, will be invaluable in this role.
