Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at our Wigan MG branch. As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring that they are safe and roadworthy. You will work closely with our team of experienced technicians to achieve our high standards of customer service and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles.
  • Conduct MOT tests and ensure that all vehicles meet the required safety standards.
  • Work closely with our team of technicians to achieve our high standards of customer service and quality.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.

Requirements

  • Time-served experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician, preferably with a Level 3 qualification.
  • Diagnostic skills and MOT testing experience.
  • Dealer experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Full driving license with no more than 6 points.
