The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs on machines as part of breakdown or preventative maintenance, ensuring all relevant paperwork and maintenance logs are completed correctly and accurately in accordance with company procedure. The ideal candidate will have experience within FMCG, Packaging, Food, Beverage manufacturing and excellent communication skills. The role involves working well as part of a small engineering function and ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with quality, hygiene and food safety policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the site is running at all times and minimising downtime. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard. The role also involves working with a range of equipment and machinery, including pumps, motors, and conveyor belts. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of work completed, including maintenance logs and repair records. The role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
