The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs on machines as part of breakdown or preventative maintenance, ensuring all relevant paperwork and maintenance logs are completed correctly and accurately in accordance with company procedure. The ideal candidate will have experience within FMCG, Packaging, Food, Beverage manufacturing and excellent communication skills. The role involves working well as part of a small engineering function and ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with quality, hygiene and food safety policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the site is running at all times and minimising downtime. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard. The role also involves working with a range of equipment and machinery, including pumps, motors, and conveyor belts. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of work completed, including maintenance logs and repair records. The role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and policies, including quality, hygiene and food safety procedures. The role involves working closely with other departments, including production and quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the maintenance team leader. The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, including adhering to company safety procedures and protocols. The role involves working in a team environment and contributing to the overall success of the site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, with minimal disruption to production. The role requires a strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
