About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team at Sedgemoor Manor School. As a specialist day school for young people with needs associated with a diagnosis on the autistic spectrum/SPLD, we provide a tailored approach to support students with a wide range of learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students with complex needs, including autism, emotional behavioral difficulties, and ADHD.
  • Develop and implement well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching to respond to individual strengths and needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with experience in SEN or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with students who have varying degrees of emotional behavioral difficulties, autism, ADHD, and associated difficulties.
  • Resilience, organisation, and a caring approach.
