Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at the Swindon Operations Centre. The ideal candidate will have a Counterbalance Forklift Licence or be willing to undergo FLT training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate paperwork and records.
  • Prepare stock for drivers and ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure stock areas are clean and organized at all times.
  • Conduct stock takes as required and report any discrepancies.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.
  • Liaise with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Manual handling capability to handle large quantities of stock.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain.
  • Health and safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
  • Report any defects or issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working area.
  • Report accidents or near-miss incidents.
  • Suggest ways to eliminate or reduce hazards.
  • Cooperate with accident investigations.
  • Develop a personal concern for safety and that of colleagues.
