Family Safeguarding Practitioner

Peterborough City Council is looking for a skilled and experienced Family Safeguarding Practitioner to join our team of dedicated social workers.

The role involves working in tight teams with manageable caseloads to achieve life-changing results. You will be responsible for assessing and managing complex cases, developing and implementing effective strategies to improve outcomes for children and young people, and ensuring that our services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.

Our relocation package includes a competitive salary, with an estimated £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as other benefits such as access to training and development opportunities.

You will work closely with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to identify and address issues that may impact on the well-being of children and families. This will involve developing and maintaining effective relationships, communicating clearly and concisely, and demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
