Job Description:

The Training and Competency Administrator plays a vital role in providing full administrative support for logging internal and external training events on internal and external portals, helping members of professional bodies meet their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of the industries CPD environment and translate requirements into practical and effective CPD logging policy and procedures
  • Implement methods for monitoring and controlling CPD events logged on internal and external portals
  • Oversee accurate and comprehensive records of CPD activities both centrally and within the business areas
  • Ensure regular monitoring and reporting processes are completed accurately and on time
  • Provide senior management with necessary information to manage people risk
  • Collaborate and share best practice with colleagues
  • Provide training and coaching to new and existing administrators as required
  • Offer guidance on a day-to-day basis and be the 'go-to person' to answer process or technical issues

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Highly desirable that candidates have 2 A-Levels
  • A degree is preferable but not essential for the role
  • Experience in Administration or Admin Support
  • Intermediate level Microsoft applications, including Excel
  • An understanding of Learning Management Systems would be an advantage
  • Strong ethic of client service
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, influencing and organizational skills
  • Ability to use judgment and reasoning to propose solutions to problems
