SEN Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity is available for teaching assistants to join a primary school specializing in students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) aged between 4 and 11. Some students may also have sensory or physical impairments.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing learning support to individuals and groups
- Assisting teaching staff
- Utilizing various resources to enhance communication, interaction, and cognitive skills in students
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Ability to attend an in-person interview and provide references
- Enhanced DBS disclosure
This is a long-term, 1-year contract with an immediate start available. The salary is £70-£90 per day. As a teaching assistant at this school, you will be working with students who have autism spectrum disorders and may also have sensory or physical impairments. You will be responsible for providing learning support to individuals and groups, assisting teaching staff, and utilizing various resources to enhance communication, interaction, and cognitive skills in students.
