At Leo Technology, we are seeking a talented Software Development Specialist to join our growing engineering team. This exciting opportunity is based in Carnforth, Lancaster, and offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will work with us to build high-quality software applications for our expanding customer base. Our development projects primarily utilize .NET and C#, but we also expect occasional work on Android projects using Kotlin and Java.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing user-facing features and server-side code
  • Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Creating reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Conducting developer testing and validation processes
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders
  • Liaising with customers as required via telephone, email, or Teams

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant development position
  • Commercial experience working with C#, .NET, MVC, Web Forms, API Design, and Azure
  • Knowledge of database development techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability and desire to interact with end customers as needed
