Maintenance Technician

Kerry Group plc is a global leader in taste and nutrition. As a Maintenance Technician - Electrical Bias, you will be responsible for the maintenance of plant equipment through all stages of the production process, ensuring maximum plant availability and driving efficiencies and profitability.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will:
- Manage external contractors, ensuring sign off of completed works against an agreed standard, compliance with all applicable internal systems, review Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Issue Permit to Work.
- Provide information regarding fault finding, sharing knowledge with Site Manager and Production Supervisors as applicable.
- Ensure all new installations or modifications to existing machinery are commissioned and risk assessed before use.
- Manage tasks so that the site complies with all UK engineering compliance requirements as well as internal system requirements (LOLER, PUWER, Legionella, Electricity at Work, Pressure System Regs, Permit to Work, Hot Work etc.).
- Ensure engineering stores are maintained, ordered and tidy.
- Actively promote safety awareness and cost and quality awareness.
