About the Role

Campden BRI is seeking a highly skilled Quality Specialist to join our Analytical Chemistry department. As a Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality management systems are up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 17025 standards.
  • Communicate effectively with departmental staff to promote compliance and awareness of management systems.
  • Conduct internal audits and implement follow-up actions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide advice to the Associate Director on compliance status, trends, and issues related to management systems.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to business management processes and their implementation.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a laboratory environment with UKAS 17025 quality standards.
  • Strong administration skills with a good understanding of business management processes and formal standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with experience in quality, technical, or scientific roles.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and software, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and survey management software.
