Junior Sous Chef Opportunity at a 5-Star Hotel

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team at a luxurious 5-star hotel in the West End. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation in our AA rosette awarded restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sous Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Lead a team of chefs in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ensure operational excellence in food safety, hygiene, and quality control
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant
  • Proven expertise in restaurant practices, including organisational skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
