About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to join our team at GSF Car Parts in Wolverhampton.

The Role:

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our logistics function, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in our distribution centres. You will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, overseeing outbound shipping activities and maintaining top-notch accuracy and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact for all outbound shipping activities, organizing and overseeing receipt, replenish and put-away operations to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Meet receipt targets while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Lead recruitment, development, and management of staff, ensuring adequate training and supervision.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize stock management and availability.
  • Manage budgets and lead projects aimed at improving inbound performance.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Operations Manager with a great track record of managing a warehouse, ideally gained within a fast-paced environment such as FMCG. You will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and LEAN principles, as well as excellent communication, analytical, and IT skills. You will be proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to change.
