Leisure and Social Inclusion Assistant

Midland Mencap is a charity that aims to improve the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities and additional needs.
We are looking for a dedicated Leisure and Social Inclusion Assistant to join our team, supporting our weekly social evenings and monthly discos.
The successful candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for participants, assisting in setting up equipment and tidying away at the end of each session.
An excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
About UsWe operate two locations throughout the week: Walsall Older Persons Project (every other Wednesday) and Walsall Disability & Carers Hub (Monday-Friday).
Activities usually take place between 10:00 Monday to Friday, with a regular social evening on Mondays and a monthly disco.
Key Responsibilities- Support at our weekly social evening or monthly disco, creating a welcoming atmosphere for participants.
- Assist in setting up equipment and tidying away at the end of each session, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
This role offers a competitive salary of £25,500 per annum, along with ongoing training and development opportunities.
