Animal Veterinary Surgeon Specialist

Established in the coastal area of Kent, Lady Dane Vets is a reputable veterinary practice seeking an experienced Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join its Whitstable and Faversham sites.

We are looking for a full-time or part-time seasoned Vet to cover both locations. The ideal candidate will work alongside our clinical director, who holds an imaging certificate, and another full-time veterinary surgeon focusing on emergency and critical care.

The role involves frequent clinical meetings with the vets to promote case discussion, job satisfaction, and well-being.

Lady Dane Vets boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including digital x-ray, K-laser, ultrasound, dental x-ray, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and in-clinic laboratories. Our Faversham facility features ample parking and large premises, located next to a well-established pet store with whom we have a strong relationship.

A dedicated support team of 7 receptionists, 7 nurses, and 1 student nurse provides diverse experience and expertise, along with a practice manager who is also an experienced nurse.

The full-time hours are set at 08:30-18:30 over a 4-day week, with a mix of medical and surgical cases. Weekends involve a rotation of 1:3 Saturdays from 08:00-16:00. We consider both part- and full-time candidates and offer flexible working arrangements for the right individual.

We offer a competitive salary estimated around £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
