Job Title: Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer

Contechs is recruiting on behalf of its client, a leading company in the mobility sector, to fill the role of Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in Electrical modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement EMC compliance planning, requirements, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including component owners, Harness team, vehicle engineering, and Homologation.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical design engineers to develop hardware within EMC specs.
  • Track and report metrics for hardware projects.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Ensure a good understanding of EMC automotive standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and EMC principles.

Eligibility: Applicants must have proof of immediate, ongoing, and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.
