Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work under the direction of the class teacher/SENCO/SEN Manager to provide support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to enable them to learn as effectively as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students who need extra help in class, ensuring they understand their lessons and can participate in activities.
  • Work closely with teachers to create special plans for students with different needs, such as learning disabilities or behavioral challenges.
  • Help students behave well in class by using special strategies to maintain a calm and friendly environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
