The Role

Arm is revolutionizing the cloud, networking, and storage landscape with innovative technologies. As a key member of our Partner Enablement team, you will play a crucial part in helping Arm's customers accelerate the development of groundbreaking infrastructure systems. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to our largest and most innovative customers, guiding them in the use of Arm's IP to build new and exciting products using Neoverse CSS.

Job Overview:

Applications Engineering is a dynamic, deeply technical role that requires not only expertise but also exceptional interpersonal skills. As a member of our team, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, analyze their requests, and provide solutions that drive progress. You will develop and present training materials for our products to customer development teams, review documentation, and contribute to the creation of application notes, example source code, and knowledge base articles.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and accurate technical responses to customer inquiries
  • Design and deliver technical training courses on systems software, both on-site and remotely
  • Collaborate with Arm IP design and product management teams to enhance the partner experience and influence IP feature development
  • Verify and refine releases prior to customer deployment
  • Develop tools and techniques to aid Application Engineers in tackling complex problems efficiently
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in systems software (OS, drivers, platform & application firmware)
  • Ability to debug low-level software and firmware issues
  • Capacity to rapidly consume documentation and technical content
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Qualification in Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of the Arm Architecture and IP
  • Good understanding of CPU architecture principles and SoC design principles
  • Experience with version control and software development flows
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl/Python)
  • Demonstrated content creation skills
  • Experience collaborating with open-source communities
