Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents, promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and setting up learning materials for planned activities.
  • Discuss learning objectives and expected outcomes with the class teacher to ensure effective lesson planning.
  • Support children with their learning, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
  • Monitor pupils' progress, modifying activities as needed to achieve learning outcomes.
  • Implement Educational Health Care Plans and track progress.
  • Promote social and emotional development in children.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to manage behaviour, maintain a positive working environment, and implement school behaviour policies.
