Key Responsibilities:- Fault finding and rectification of building services and facilities.
- Supporting the contract management and administration team through the operations office, dealing with day-to-day engineering and contract issues.
- Resolving problematic persistent recalls and undertaking quality control checks on reactive and planned maintenance tasks.
- Communicating effectively with clients, end-users, and other stakeholders.
- Working flexibly to meet client and business requirements, including responding to emergency situations.
- Maintaining health and safety records and ensuring good practice.
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the relevant manager.
- Performing various non-specialist building fabric maintenance tasks.
- Closing and updating completed planned maintenance tasks on the CAFM system.
- Ensuring adherence to company QA and site procedures.
- Following company and site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
- Inspecting the condition of services and proactively dealing with call-outs and repairs.
- Working at high levels, including in plant rooms, and maintaining all company-issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
- Contributing to the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach.
- Previous experience within the building services sector.
- Current full UK driving license.
- A good awareness of health and safety working practices.
- A flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and targets.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
