Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled GNC/AOCS Systems Engineer to join our team at Elecnor Deimos. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of guidance, navigation, and control systems for satellites and other spacecraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop GNC/AOCS algorithms and software for satellites and launch vehicles
  • Implement and validate GNC/AOCS systems using simulation tools and models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GNC/AOCS systems with other spacecraft systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in GNC/AOCS systems development and implementation
  • Strong background in control systems, simulation, and modeling
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with flight operations in ESA/European programs
  • Knowledge of Kalman filtering and navigation/state estimation techniques
  • Background in classical and robust control techniques

Excellent written and spoken English skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
