Logistics Supervisor Job Description

Natures Way Foods Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse facility, ensuring accurate storage and rotation of materials, and meeting customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure team members are trained to the required standard and new starters receive a comprehensive induction.
  • Enforce Company Health and Safety and Hygiene rules at all times.
  • Meet customer requirements (internal and external) in full wherever possible.
  • Liaise with all areas/departments as necessary.
  • Responsible for H&S and GMP across Raw, Drystores, and Despatch areas.
  • Manage holidays for shift to ensure appropriate crewing levels and manage absences.
  • Ensure smooth communications between hauliers and planning/production for 100% finished goods availability.
About You:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Willingness to learn new things.
  • Previous experience in warehouse management an advantage.
Shift Pattern:

We operate a rotational shift pattern covering 6 to 6, with 12-hour shifts and 3 breaks. You will work a total of 14 days over a 28-day period, with a nightshift allowance of £1,000 per year.
