Mechanical Crane Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Acorn by Synergie in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our Crane Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical upkeep, overhaul, and repair of our crane equipment.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled industrial fitter with experience in heavy machinery maintenance. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure high-level bay maintenance and contribute to the design and production of spare parts for cranes.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the efficiency of overhead travelling cranes to meet industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and perform repairs on crane equipment within set timelines.
- Design and produce spare parts for cranes, collaborating with the engineering team.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance safety and cleanliness within the Crane Maintenance Team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need substantial experience in the steel or construction industry, preferably with an NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Engineering. Your exceptional communication skills, teamwork abilities, and strong risk assessment skills will enable you to excel in this position.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
