Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Delivering targeted support to students with complex needs, ensuring they have access to equal learning opportunities.
  • Working closely with teachers to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), driving student progress and achievement.
  • Contributing to the design and delivery of engaging and adaptive activities that cater to students' diverse needs and abilities.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote effective communication among students, using methods such as Makaton and PECs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive school culture, fostering social, emotional, and academic growth among students.
  • Supporting students during break times and transitions, ensuring they feel safe and valued throughout the day.
