We're seeking a skilled Product Test Engineer to join our Development team in Brighton, where you'll design and execute test plans for hardware and software products, ensuring the stability, security, efficiency, and effectiveness of Paxton products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans for electro-mechanical products, ensuring compliance with requirements and standards.
- Document and analyze test results, supporting hardware performance improvements.
- Identify risks and propose solutions in complex engineering projects.
- Create electro-mechanical test equipment and coordinate with sub-contractors for timely delivery.
- Support Test Technicians through test plans and implementation.
- Produce designs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation for test systems.
- Provide clear technical updates on progress and issues to project teams.
- Support departments by testing fault reports and field issues from customer sites.
- Degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in a similar role, working with electronics, circuit layouts, and electro-mechanical design.
