About the Role

We require a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Specialist Adult Learning Disabilities Team.

The successful candidate will work with adults with diagnosed learning disabilities and/or mental health needs in the Black Country community.

Main Duties

  • Manage a caseload of service users with diagnosed learning disabilities
  • Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments and develop interventions to address occupational performance and skills deficits
  • Plan and implement Occupational Therapy interventions, using graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals
  • Monitor, evaluate, and modify treatment to measure progress and ensure effective intervention

Requirements

  • Holds a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent overseas qualification
  • HCPC registered
  • Experience of working with adults with diagnosed learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions
