About Our Client
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our client, a leading national provider of support services for individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health challenges, and neurological conditions.
Job Description
- Lead financial process improvement projects and enhance financial operations to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management to refine financial reporting processes, controls, and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review and analyze month-end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts across the group to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for the Executive Board and Senior Leadership Team to inform business decisions.
- Provide insightful variance analysis to help stakeholders understand business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage and support the operational finance team, overseeing two direct reports to ensure effective team performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with external audit queries and year-end processes to maintain a high level of financial governance.
The Successful Applicant
This role is ideal for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in delivering change and managing a team. You will have strong technical skills, particularly in data manipulation and financial modelling using SQL and Excel, and excellent communication skills to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
