Job Title: Senior Field Service Engineer

Are you a skilled engineer looking to advance your career in the biomass sector? We are seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team at Manpower Group (UK).

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to oversee ongoing planned and reactive maintenance, perform daily repairs, and ensure that commercial biomass heating installations comply with legislative and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on commercial heating systems, including pumps, control valves, pressurisation units, and associated mechanical/electrical services.
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Respond efficiently to breakdowns and equipment failures, diagnosing issues and implementing repairs using your engineering expertise to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work completed on-site using a company tablet and cloud-based asset management software.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by integrating with client representatives on-site and fostering strong relationships with key members of our client's teams.

Requirements:

  • SNVQ (or equivalent) in Commercial Plumbing & Heating and/or Electrical Installation.
  • Valid Driving License.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and heating principles.
  • Background in commercial heating systems with hands-on experience on-site.
  • Additional certifications in heating, plumbing, or electrical disciplines.
  • Qualifications in Oil/Gas Servicing (OFTEC / Gas Safe Modules).
