Precision Measurement Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Precision Measurement Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and precision of mechanical components used in mission-critical systems.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Inspecting precision components from various sources to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
  2. Creating and maintaining CMM programs using PC-DMIS software for new and legacy components.
  3. Developing and implementing inspection procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  4. Liasing with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve any quality issues.
  5. Patrolling inspection of manufacturing areas to identify potential quality risks.
  6. Raising non-conformance reports and dimensional reports as necessary.
  7. Performing calibration duties, including equipment maintenance and purchasing.

What Qualifications Do You Need?

  • A recognised Mechanical qualification and relevant experience in mechanical inspection.
  • Experience in using precision measuring equipment and CMM programming.
  • Good working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 Rev D.
  • Manufacturing experience in mechanical fields.
  • Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings and tolerancing.
  • CMM programming experience with PC-DMIS software.
