Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting a skilled Maintenance Technician to work within a large company at one of their premium factories in Kent. The successful candidate will have a background in maintenance engineering or service in any environment, such as industrial, facilities, FMCG, building services or other manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Support all production machinery, combating and resolving breakdowns and machinery problems. Work through planned preventative maintenance and undertake project work such as new installations etc. Maintenance Engineers get the opportunity to cover both electro-mechanical maintenance work across the factory and are encouraged and supported to develop their weaker side, whether this be mechanical or electrical.
Requirements:
Maintenance or Service background in any environment, ideally industrial, manufacturing, production or automated etc. Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications - this could be mechanical or electrical. Good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across some of the following; motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems etc. Friendly and adaptable with the ability to work well as part of a team. Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty. Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the Site Health and Safety instructions and the Health and Safety manual & relevant engineering standards.
