Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Fitness Manager to join our team at Bannatyne Health Club. As a Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of fitness advisors and personal trainers, driving the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs), and developing innovative fitness programs and classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the fitness department, including duty management shifts
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of fitness advisors and personal trainers
- Drive the performance of KPIs for the team
- Monitor the budget and review forecasted and actual spending on freelance class instructors
- Develop and implement innovative fitness programs and classes
- Conduct regular staff training and professional development
- Lead group fitness classes and provide one-on-one training sessions
- Provide personalized fitness assessments and develop tailored workout plans for members
- Ensure the fitness area is safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Stay updated with the latest fitness trends and techniques
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 Fitness qualified
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the fitness or wellness industry
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience of managing a team
- Good understanding of fitness technology and trends
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Customer-focused attitude
- Genuine passion for health, wellness, and customer service
