Position Overview

The UK and Nordics Medical Manager at Exact Sciences plays a crucial role in delivering medical affairs activities in those territories. This position works closely with the Medical Director UK/I & Nordics and the International Headquarters to drive medical affairs initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain scientific relationships with local national/regional thought leaders in breast cancer.
  2. Support the delivery of the medical affairs strategy for the region, generating presentation materials for medical education events.
  3. Identify data gaps in clinical utility and act as a contact for investigators interested in developing and performing studies with the company's commercially available assays.
  4. Deliver national/regional advisory boards when external advice is needed.
  5. Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions in academic, community, and healthcare provider settings.
  6. Develop and execute plans in alignment with regional plans of action.
  7. Assist in R&D-initiated studies, as appropriate.
  8. Develop and facilitate RWE activities, supporting delivery of plan.
  9. Provide scientific and medical updates/presentations in local reimbursement discussions.
  10. Coordinate and provide written publication expertise for manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
  11. Provide scientific support at medical congresses.
  12. Provide scientific support for appropriate educational initiatives.
  13. Deliver medical training and clinical updates to company stakeholders, as needed.
  14. Assure compliance with relevant corporate and regulatory guidelines.
  15. Provide feedback and medical input to local commercial plans and strategies.
  16. Provide input on the development of UK/Nordics-specific commercial materials.
Requirements
  1. Master's Degree in Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Health Science (Medical Doctor or PhD is a plus).
  2. 3 to 5 years of industry experience (working in medical affairs - pharma/biotech/med tech).
  3. Therapeutic clinical experience desired.
  4. Expertise in Oncology. Experience in breast/GI/lung cancer is a plus.
  5. Extensive experience in managing KOLs.
  6. Experience in relevant geographies a plus.
  7. Excellent English mandatory.
