Job Title: Repairs Planner

We are seeking a skilled Repairs Planner to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role

As a Repairs Planner, you will be responsible for scheduling the workload of Property Maintenance Trade Operatives. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all appointments are met, and customers receive excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effective and proactive scheduling, tracking, and management of operatives' diaries to ensure all appointments are met.
  • Liaising with customers and operatives to arrange and rearrange appointments as required.
  • Tracking of jobs that potentially could go overdue, planning all work to ensure completion within target timescales, and prioritizing attendance of emergency works.
  • Prioritizing workloads to correct trade operatives and scheduling works efficiently to maximize the potential for a first-time fix, ensuring operatives have the right materials to complete their work.
  • Providing excellent customer service to our residents while scheduling work in the most cost-effective and productive manner.
  • Maximizing the efficiency of operatives through effective scheduling, identifying the most logical route to reduce travel time between appointments.
  • Working collaboratively with all departments to ensure performance targets are achieved.
  • Closely monitoring the punctuality and quality of job completions and feeding back to trade supervisors supporting information on operative performance levels where required.
Requirements
  • Previous scheduling/planning experience is desirable.
  • Previous administration experience is required for this role.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize well.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Proactive and positive approach towards work.
