About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Mobile Patrol Officer to join our team in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

This is a part-time role, requiring 20 hours per week, spread over any 4 days of the week, including some evening and weekend working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol and monitor car parks, ensuring they are tidy and clean at all times.
  • Issue Parking Charge Notices as required, in line with contraventions set out in the terms and conditions signage.
  • Check parking equipment is in working order and restock machines with tickets.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and replenishment of consumables within payment and validation kiosks.
  • Improve accessibility for all site users and manage abuse of parking facilities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
  • Carry out duties in line with company health and safety policies and follow safe working practices.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to your own vehicle.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Good verbal and listening communications skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Basic IT, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated.
  • Good understanding of role and requirements of our customers.
