Job Summary

GE's Power Conversion business is seeking a skilled Electrical Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting variable frequency drives and associated power equipment. You will also perform troubleshooting activities at site locations, communicate project progress to the engineering management team, and participate in the design of customer upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and commission variable frequency drives and associated power equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting activities at site locations.
  • Communicate project progress to the engineering management team.
  • Participate in the design of customer upgrade projects.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Solid experience in heavy industry environment.
  • Knowledge of integrated control schemes with switchgear, protection, PLCs, HMI, and drives.
  • Understanding of power conversion principles for DC drives, LV PWM drives, MV PWM drives, and LCI's.
