Job Title: Team Leader

We're seeking a motivated and skilled Team Leader to join our team at River Island. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the store management team to ensure the smooth operation of the store, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Set up team briefs, communicate store actions and targets, check business communication channels, and drive actions to achieve priorities.
  • Customer Focus: Work with the management team to improve a customer-focused culture, drive conversion, footfall, and service KPIs, and adjust approach to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Operations: Create a safe and secure working environment, support health and safety training, complete price events and promotional activity, and drive delivery process and productivity.
  • Visual and Commercial: Support visual merchandising guidelines, conduct daily walkthroughs, analyze data, and maintain the commercial file.
  • People: Support recruitment, develop and coach sales advisors, have difficult conversations, and encourage a diverse and inclusive culture.
  • Cost and Budgeting: Monitor store performance, controllable costs, and staffing levels to achieve store priorities and service KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Problem Solving: Make sense of information to solve problems, identify opportunities, and use problem-solving methods to put a proposed plan in place.
