Job Description

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

This role is an exciting opportunity to work as a Community Payback Supervisor within the Ministry of Justice. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing work groups of offenders serving community sentences.

The successful candidate will have effective interpersonal skills and the ability to supervise people constructively while maintaining authority. They will also possess problem-solving skills and knowledge of safety at work, public protection, and risk of harm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Pre-Placement Unpaid Work Induction sessions
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • Use pro-social and other motivational techniques to ensure service users complete their orders
  • Maintain all service users' records in accordance with organisational requirements

Requirements:

  • Evidence of commitment to teamwork
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to model pro-social attitudes and behaviour
  • Good written communication skills
