St Helena Hospice Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team in providing high-quality palliative care to patients and their families.
About the RoleAs a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care needs for patients in the community. You will work closely with the inter-disciplinary team to provide rapid response visits, triage calls, and offer advice and support to patients and their loved ones.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care needs.
- Provide high-quality palliative care to patients and their families, including symptom control management and end-of-life care.
- Work collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Triage calls and provide advice and support to patients and their loved ones.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of palliative care principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
