Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper - Domestic Support Specialist to join our team at Kingly Terrace service in Rushden. As a key member of our domestic team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and upkeep in our premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the on-site domestic team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and upkeep is achieved and maintained.
- General cleaning of premises, including floors, sinks, toilets, wash hand basins, baths, showers, surfaces, cupboards, etc., using designated equipment and re-stocking materials as required.
- Carry out periodic cleaning, such as corridor walls, windows, and carpets, using the appropriate machines/tools.
- Correct usage, storage, and care of cleaning equipment, adhering to COSHH procedures.
- Ensure a smart appearance by wearing the company uniform provided.
- Provide high levels of customer care at all times.
- Complete all statutory and mandatory training, whether face-to-face or via e-learning, deemed relevant to the role.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper from either a healthcare or domestic cleaning background.
- Experience working unsupervised and on your own initiative.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
