Job Opportunity: HGV Class 1 Driver Nights

Pertemps is seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team for a night shift position based in Severn Beach, BS35.

  • Overtime Opportunities: 5th shift available as overtime, paid at £25.20 per hour.
  • Flexible Start Times: Varying start times between 17:00 - 21:00 to accommodate your needs.
  • Weekly Pay: Receive your pay on a weekly basis, with the option to start ASAP.
  • Depot Amenities: Enjoy unlimited hot and cold drinks, as well as free parking on site.
About the Role:
  • Daily Vehicle Checks: Ensure your vehicle is in top condition before each shift.
  • Multi-Drop Delivery Service: Complete between 1 and 5 drops daily, providing a varied and engaging experience.
  • Delivery Paperwork: Accurately complete delivery paperwork as required.
  • Physical Demands: Comfortable with heavy lifting, with a sack barrow provided for assistance.
Requirements:
  • UK Class 1 Driving Licence: Hold a valid UK Class 1 driving licence.
  • Full CPC and Digi Card: Possess a full CPC and Digi card.
  • Driving Assessment: Complete a driving assessment (fully paid) prior to starting.
  • Licence Points: No more than 3 points on your driving licence.
  • Experience: 6 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
