Job Title: Lead Automation and Controls Project Engineer

As a key member of our Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems and standards for our manufacturing equipment and systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and technicians to deliver innovative solutions that drive business success. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of control systems and standards, as well as leading a team of engineers to excel in their performance and achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical standards, project books, and specifications for all manufacturing systems
  • Collaborate closely with other manufacturing engineering process teams, manufacturing operations, and IT departments
  • Develop and maintain interfaces specifications from shop floor PLCs/applications to manufacturing execution systems

Requirements:

  • Expertise in the specification, delivery, installation, and launch of controls systems, preferably in an automotive or powertrain environment
  • Thorough understanding of machine electrical systems and designs in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of IT/OT networks and architectures
  • Rockwell PLC experience
