Apprenticeship Standards Assessor

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aerospace engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in assessment and evaluation. Recent assessment of Apprentice Standards is essential, as is the ability to achieve Enhanced DBS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing apprenticeship competence against current Apprenticeship Standards in a timely manner
  • Supporting centre-based workshop and hangar training as required
  • Preparing for Awarding Organisation sampling visits
  • Monitoring and reporting acts of cheating and/or plagiarism found during assessment
  • Supporting the development of programme enhancement activities
  • Contributing during induction programmes and activity days
  • Reporting activities/behaviours that may delay the timely completion of the apprenticeship programme

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years assessor experience, recent assessment of Apprentice Standards
  • D32, D33, A1, AVA
  • Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (Aviation) or equivalent
  • Ability to achieve Enhanced DBS
