As a Contract Management Lead, you will be responsible for leading a small team and overseeing the management of contracts. You will work closely with our clients to ensure that their needs are met and that our services are delivered to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in contract management and a proven track record of leading teams. You will be a strong communicator and have excellent problem-solving skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £40/hour, plus FLT allowance, and overtime rates of £18.15/hour. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme and life insurance.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work. You will be required to work a 10:30-11:30 shift, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading by example and setting a positive tone for the team
  • Briefing and debriefing drivers to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities and any issues that may arise
  • Printing and supplying run sheets, and planning and communicating suitable working hours for drivers
  • Route and hours planning to cover additional requirements
  • Maintaining consumable supplies and distributing them in line with customer requirements
  • Compiling and emailing evening reports
  • Assessing driver run sheets to identify timing and location problems, and liaising with the Onsite Management Team to resolve faults
  • Investigating, reporting, and resolving quality issues with driver performance
  • Checking the fleet for damage and taking appropriate action to resolve vehicle defects
  • Ensuring the fleet remains clean, presentable, and safe
  • Locking up and ensuring overnight security of the Depot
  • Maintaining a proactive attitude to staff and customers
  • Processing returns during staff holidays, sickness cover, and busy periods
  • Any other task that the company, or a manager or supervisor, may require

The skills required for this role include:

  • Capability to take responsibility for direct supervision of a small team
  • Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance
  • Basic working ability in the use of MS Outlook
  • Awareness of Health and Safety good practice
  • Proactively seeking to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement

You must have a Full UK driving licence with 6 unexpired penalty points or fewer.
